Sourcing 10% of our food locally can be a challenge, especially for larger institutions. How do we do it? What are the initial steps? Who are the collaborators? The Local Food Spotlights film series explore the heroes who are making farm to fork and sea to plate a reality.

The NC 10% Campaign offers these film shorts free of charge, as well as a downloadable Film Screening Toolkit.

The film screening toolkit can be used by community organizers to host a screening and discussion on the importance of a strong community-based local food system, the benefits of connecting to fresh & healthy foods, and steps for local food infrastructure development. The toolkit provides an event planning timeline, curriculum, discussion question examples, and local food snack ideas.
