What are 4-H Workshops?
4-H workshops are short-term, educational, and hands-on learning experiences for youth, families, and other youth organizations in Mecklenburg County. Workshops, clinic topics, and program areas vary month to month and are determined by youth, families, and community feedback. These topics and program areas include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Agriculture
- Animal Science
- Astronomy
- Career Exploration
- Citizenship & Civic Engagement
- Community Service
- Cooking & Baking
- Creative & Expressive Arts
- Financial Literacy
- Gardening
- STEM Lessons and Activities
- Trade Skills
Who can attend?
4-H workshops are open to all youth and families in Mecklenburg County. If you attend more than three workshops, we ask that you enroll as a 4-H member. Enrollment is free, and more information about what it includes is available under the Resources tab.
