Partnering with 4-H
4-H is open to working with local schools, community programs, and other youth organizations. Mecklenburg County 4-H is consistently looking to expand its reach and impact across the county. The 4-H program works closely with local schools, recreation centers, libraries, and sites looking to expand their programming efforts and reinforce youth development initiatives. 4-H does this by connecting clubs, volunteers, and youth with local opportunities and organizations. 4-H also offers hands-on workshops and educational experiences for youth and families in the community.
Partnering with 4-H and N.C. Cooperative Extension opens up programming potential with Mecklenburg County's other program areas, including Local Foods, Family & Consumer Science, Agriculture & Natural Resources, Horticulture, and Extension Master Gardener℠ Volunteers. How to get started
To start partnering with 4-H and N.C. Cooperative Extension, please review our other pages and meet with the county 4-H agent. The meeting with the 4-H agent will assess your particular needs and wants and how 4-H and N.C. Cooperative Extension can help.
