At the Mecklenburg County Cooperative Extension, we are incredibly proud to recognize and celebrate the achievements of Vrishab Nooka, a dynamic young leader whose journey through the 4-H program has inspired everyone! He has recently been interviewed by National 4-H and showcased on 4-H website and Instagram! Vrishab’s dedication, innovation, and commitment to the South Charlotte Clovers 4-H community club highlight the powerful role 4-H plays in shaping future leaders.

Growing up in a small town in Wisconsin, Vrishab’s path led him to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he found a new community with 4-H. From his early days as a club member, it became clear that he was passionate about making a difference. In his role as Treasurer, Vrishab not only developed essential financial skills, but also built strong relationships with fellow 4-H youth that will contribute to the development of his future career path. But his journey didn’t stop there.

The following year, Vrishab was elected President of the South Charlotte 4-H community club, where his leadership helped grow membership to 55 members and expanded the club’s focus to include public speaking, STEM, and community service. He even helped facilitate the series on the local news, showcasing the agricultural knowledge of 4-H youth in Mecklenburg County. His initiatives have reached over 20,000 people, leaving a lasting impact on communities in Mecklenburg County.

We are thrilled to see Vrishab embody the values of 4-H, from civic engagement to encouraging hands-on learning in STEM, we are inspired by his dedication to social justice, leadership, and youth development. His enthusiasm for leadership, finance, and community service continues to motivate and uplift all of us in the Mecklenburg County 4-H family.
