Cooking Matters at the Store is a guided grocery store tour that helps families make healthy and affordable choices at the supermarket. During the virtual tour, participants learn key food shopping skills such as buying fruits and vegetables on a budget, comparing unit prices, reading food labels, and identifying whole grain foods. N.C. Cooperative Extension will share additional resources to support making affordable and healthy food choices.
