Get your fall plant shopping done early at the NC State Extension Master Gardener℠ Plant Sale


Plant Sale Saturday September 27, 9:00-2:00 while supplies last.


When: Saturday, September 27th, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: N.C. Cooperative Extension, Mecklenburg County Center

Variety of Plants

Shop for an array of perennials, natives, vegetables, and bulbs, many grown by our own Master Gardener Volunteers. In addition, we will have plants from the grounds of Historic Rosedale as well as from select local nurseries. By purchasing at our sale you are supporting the ongoing educational and outreach efforts of the Master Gardener program.

On-Site Learning

Learn from our expert, certified Master Gardener Volunteers at one of our Gardening Demonstration Sessions:

Mecklenburg Master Gardener Volunteers will be on site during the sale to help you select the right plant for your needs and answer all your plant questions.

Family Friendly

Special gardening-themed kids’ activities throughout the sale to keep your children busy and having fun while you shop!

The NC State Extension Master Gardener Plant Sale is a fundraiser.

All proceeds go to Friends of EMG Program Mecklenburg, a nonprofit that supports educational programming and activities by Master Gardener Volunteers.
