The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) 2024 Impact Report
The Transition to Organic Partnership Program (TOPP) is a network created by the USDA’s National Organic Program to support transitioning and organic producers with mentorship and resources. The goal of TOPP is to grow the network of organic producers.
With TOPP, producers that are transitioning to organic production will find support through the transition and certification process. Mentorship, workshops, webinars, field days, technical assistance, and other educational events offer opportunities to learn about organic production, the certification process, market opportunities, and more!
Since its launch in 2022, the USDA TOPP has been supporting the growth of organic farming communities. This report highlights the first two years of TOPP, showcasing real stories, partnerships, insights on program support to producers, local economic growth, and expanded market opportunities.
