What is the schedule?
Please visit the link for the current schedule, subject to change. 2025 Congress Schedule
If I advance to the 4-H State Presentation Finals do I have to attend 4-H Congress as well?
4-H State Presentation Finals and 4-H Congress are separate events. It is not required to attend both. 4-H Congress begins soon after the state presentation finals because many youth want to stay, however, it is not required.
What about Transportation?
As for transportation for congress, there will be a van but space is limited. The van can fit up to 13 youth. The space on the van will prioritize youth attending ONLY state presentation finals on July 21st, because it is only available for the day and will go back to Charlotte the same day. Next, youth who have state presentations and will attend NC 4-H Congress will be prioritized. We encourage youth who can drive themselves and carpool to do so.
The 4-H agent will have a large SUV to help transport luggage to NC 4-H Congress 9for those who are riding in the van and also participating in the presentations). During the week the large SUV will be used to transport youth attending NC 4-H Congress. When necessary, their will be multiple trips to ensure participants arrive at the events. Again, youth who can drive are encouraged to do so.
Who is able to go?
So long as you are registered in 4-H Online, are between ages 13-18, and can pay to attend you are eligible to go!
If you are looking for more information please reach out to our 4-H Agent Isaiah Barco at ibbarco@ncsu.edu.
