RMRW is an engaging financial literacy program aimed at teaching youth (ages 12–18) practical money management skills through interactive, real-world simulations. After a series of classroom lessons, students take part in hands-on simulations staffed by dedicated volunteers like you!
As a Volunteer, You’ll:
- Operate simulation booths that reflect real-world financial decisions.
- Help students learn how to balance wants and needs within a budget.
- Attend a brief training session before the event.
- Support setup and breakdown of the event.
Who Can Volunteer?
We’re looking for enthusiastic community members, including:
- Business owners and professionals
- Community leaders and advocates
- Teachers, school staff, and parents
- Anyone passionate about youth education and empowerment
📅 Event Details:
We’re currently recruiting volunteers for our simulation on August 8th, 2025. The event will occur from 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at 2425 Lester Street, Charlotte NC 28208. There will be mandatory volunteer orientation at 8:15 a.m. that day prior to the start of the event.
