Job Description As the County Extension Director, I am responsible for the overall leadership, administration, marketing, and staff of the Mecklenburg County Center with core areas of focus on Urban Agriculture and Community Development. My PhD is in Agriculture Science Communication with research on agricultural communications and innovations, and the intersections between food and culture. I bring over two decades of work as an Extension professional to Mecklenburg County as I work to create a robust and comprehensive program to address Urban Extension issues including land use preservation, environmental issues, and economic development.
