Mecklenburg County Cooperative Extension is a part of the County's Park and Recreation Department. Home Horticulture, pesticide licensing and pond management information has become a part of the Special Maintenance and Park Services Branch. The horticulture staff includes: Master Gardeners are available at 704-336-4011, from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM, Mondays through Fridays (March 1 through October 31).
