	10 % Local Food Challenge Kick Off August 17th, 2010 @ 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM Charlotte, NC
	Join us for our Charlotte-area kick-off for the 10% Challenge on Tuesday, August 17th at Atherton Market at Atherton Mill from 11:30am - 1:00 pm. Atherton Market is located in the old Trolley Barn space at 2104 South Boulevard. The kick-off event will feature a chef-educator demonstrating cooking techniques with some of the bounty of the market, food tastings, shopping tips, dietary and nutrition advice, as well as registeration for the 10% Challenge. Mecklenburg County Extension Master Gardenersm (EMG) volunteers will be available in the Greenery Shed on May 8, to provide research-based horticulture and environmental information and to answer your gardening and lawn care questions.
